Meet Cute

Soon after the blind blind date debacle, I met an adorable guy on the subway. He was friendly and smart and charming. We were the only two sober people taking the F train back into Manhattan from Brooklyn at 1am on a Saturday night. With our hour long wait, we had a lovely conversation. I gave him my number expecting not to hear from him and much to my surprise, he called and asked me to lunch!

He took me on a lovely date and we tried a cuisine I've been itching to try...

June - I had my first taste of Korean BBQ

He took me to a very crowded restaurant in Korea town and ordered our meal in Korean (I was very impressed considering he is not Korean!). The food was delicious. Our waitress cooked up our lunch right on the table. We had some kind of marinated meat, cabbage and noodles and rice, a seafood pancake, and fish. My favorite part about the experience was that the meal came with little ramekins filled with small tastes of delicious Korean dishes. Although I don't know that anything further will develop between me and subway guy, I really enjoyed our delicious outing.

Komapsumnida! (That's thank you in Korean in case you were wondering)
